What personal data we collect and why we do collect them


When our website’s visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the “comment” form the visitor’s IP address and the browser’s user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created by your email address (hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it. Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approving your comment, your profile picture is visible to all users alongside your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract any position data from the images on the website.

Contact form

We use contact forms to collect requests from users that ar interested in subscribing to our mailing list, and we use them only to send the appropriate information. We do not use any of the collected information (Name, Surname, Email address) to marketing purposes, nor do we sell them to third parties.


If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. They are for your convenience: in doing so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave the next comment. These cookies will remain acitve for one year. If you have an account and access this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine whether the browser accepts cookies or not. This cookie contains no personal data and it is deleted when you close your browser. When you log in, several cookies will be set to save login information and screen display options. The access cookies remain active for two days and the cookies of your screen options for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will continue for two weeks. If you exit your account, access cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article that you’ve just edited. It will expire after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Such content, coming from other websites, behaves in exactly as in the other website. With whom we share your data and for how long do we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is how we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.  We also store the personal information provided by registered users in their user profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal data at any time (except for their username that they can not change). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights do you have on your data?

If you have an account on this site, or you have left comments, you can request to receive a data export file of all your data, including data you have provided. You can also request that we delete all personal data that concern you. This does not include data that we have to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
